Alyssa Ayon, ACSW 119006

Supervised by Serena Lee, LCSW 121160, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Alyssa Ayon, MSW, ACSW, is a trauma-informed clinician and UCLA Prevention Center of Excellence Curriculum Developer whose work centers survivors of violence, systemic harm, and intergenerational trauma. She brings a strong commitment to supporting LGBTQIA2-S+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, with a clinical lens grounded in equity, cultural humility, and healing justice. Alyssa specializes in working with young adults (18-25) and adults navigating complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and identity-based stressors, particularly first-generation college students, children of immigrants, and neurodivergent clients.

Alyssa approaches therapy as a collaborative space where clients can move at their own pace while building tools for grounding, self-understanding, and lasting change. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, CBT, somatic practices, mindfulness, and trauma-focused therapies to support clients in making sense of their experiences while strengthening their connection to themselves and their values. She especially enjoys working with college students and transition-age young adults who are navigating identity development, family expectations, academic pressure, and questions about belonging.

She feels especially honored to support survivors of childhood sexual abuse and other forms of sexual violence, as well as women of color and first-generation clients working through intergenerational trauma, identity-based stress, and relationship patterns shaped by survival. In addition to individual therapy, Alyssa facilitates community-centered wellness workshops using creative expression and art-based healing approaches through her training with A Window Between Worlds, and she is passionate about expanding access to culturally responsive mental health support within college communities such as CSU Northridge.
